An unknown sample was known to be either cinnamic acid(m.p 133 centigrade),urea(m.p 133-135C), or malonic acid(135-136C).Given a sample of the unknown and samples of each to these three compounds, briefly indicate how you could establish the identity of the unknown through m.p determination alone.

NB: For you critics out there, I have an answer(idea). just wanted to get more views as I could be wrong. I try very hard to do my assignments without having to disturb other people. So be lenient with any negative comments or more, if you don't want to answer, pls do not criticise.

I assume it's round. If the Earth turns out to be shaped like a pear or egg or cigar like, it makes little difference to the way I live my life. Nonetheless, I have not heard a better answer of PROOF than, "Because my 3rd grade teacher told me so" or "because of pictures (presumably) taken from the moon".
Has anyone proven for themselves that the Earth is round?

"I have more proof that God exists than I have proof that the Earth is round."

I am a first year medic and we were conducting an experiment the other day involving the movement of molecules across the cells plasma membrane. We used erythrocytes and found that for urea and glycerol, the uptake was very quick. The solution containing glucose however remained opaque. IS GLUCOSE EVEN TAKEN IN by erythrocytes?? Please quote your source. I need the answer to be reliable.

North Korea claims to have tested a nuclear bomb. I know that scientists will try to find out the truth of this by measuring the radioactivity in the atmosspere, but could they really see the difference between a real a-bomb and a conventional bomb with some added radiactive stuff.

I know just about every part of the country has some particualar type of weather associated with it:earthquakes in the west, scorching hot tempatures in the south, tornadoes in the middle, and freezing tempatures, evan below freezing tempatures in the north north-east.

So which area are you willing to take a chance on and brave the extreme weather?

Me, I live the south, Texas,Dallas,Texas to be exact, and in the summer tempatures can easily reach the mid 90's to 100 degree plus. personally If I could choose, I'd probably go somewhere where its cool or cold most of the time could I would do better in cold that I do heat. The heat practically melts me and I cant stand it.

So what about everybody else; what part of the country are would you take your chances on?
