go to googleearth.com, and type in your address. Simple as that!

Google Earth is the best way to try.
However, you may or may not be able to see your house. If no high resolution satellite image has been taken of your area or has not been loaded into Google Earth then this will not work.

Google Earth or http://maps.google.com -> click on "hybrid". You will see a combination of your street overlain on an aerial image. Not all images used by Google are satellite, some are orthoaerial imagery (digital aerial imagery). Nothing to download with maps.google.com either.
