I know just about every part of the country has some particualar type of weather associated with it:earthquakes in the west, scorching hot tempatures in the south, tornadoes in the middle, and freezing tempatures, evan below freezing tempatures in the north north-east.

So which area are you willing to take a chance on and brave the extreme weather?

Me, I live the south, Texas,Dallas,Texas to be exact, and in the summer tempatures can easily reach the mid 90's to 100 degree plus. personally If I could choose, I'd probably go somewhere where its cool or cold most of the time could I would do better in cold that I do heat. The heat practically melts me and I cant stand it.

So what about everybody else; what part of the country are would you take your chances on?

I was born and raised in Texas....Only lived in Eastern US for 2 years and Florida for 2 years. I prefer Texas over any place.

It's scorching hot in the summer, warm in the spring and fall and mildly chilly in the winter..... If I could I would move back to the country.... I miss the peace and quiet..... I loathe city life!

I'm living in the same area as you and I hate the heat, too. I'd move north in a minute if it was anyway possible. This past summer seems to have been particularly hard. But aren't you loving this rain today? :)

I would just go back home in Houston. You THINK it's too hot in the summer, but living where it's cold, and freezing now, you would change your mind. I would much rather be in warm weather. I actually wouldn't mind living in Las Vegas, though.

I also live in Texas. My choice as to where I would like to live is in Oregon, preferably in Portland. Oregon is a beautiful state. I enjoy the weather there and the people are friendly.
