1. The effect of different liquids on teeth
2. The effects of salt and other contaminants on rate of rusting
3. The effect of temperature on the growth rate of crystals

For #1, I was thinking about using either real teeth or egg skins to represent the teeth. Then I'd use three liquids (probably milk, orange juice, and soda) and see which dissolves the tooth or egg the most in a given amount of time.

For #2, I was thinking about using three different contaminants to see which would make an iron nail rust fastest. Any ideas for the contaminants?

For #3, I'd grow crystals somehow (?) and see if growing them in the cold differs from growing them in warmth.

Which one do you think is best? How could I go about doing these experiments? Any suggestions for different experiments?

so what is the point of teaching evolution in schools like it's fact? One man thought of it, and all of a sudden we treat it like it's fact. Many of many of people write books about different things and get called fools and idiots for what they think. Yet Darwin steps up and says, I've got it! and literally the world falls at his feet and worships his THEORY! You must notice that it's a T-H-E-O-R-Y! I didn't know theories were taken so seriously in science.

Why does this form of metabolism (lactic acid fermentation) increase the shelf life of food? I know it creates an acidic environment where bad bacteria cant thrive, but I have to write a whole page on this simple question. *shakes fist*

Phil and Linda decide to continue their game of catch by the lakeside. Phil stays on land, and Linda stands in a rowboat. When Linda throws the softball, to Phil, the rowboat moves away from the shore. THis can be most easily explained by:
a Newton's first law
b Newton's second law
c Newton's third law
d None of these

Ok according to Newtons Third law, for every action their is a opposite and equal reaction. Gravity pulls us down so according to Newton there must be a force that pulls us up, these forces have to have equal force. What 'If' we could create a force that is the opposite of gravity additional to already exsisiting force working against gravity. The action would no longer be equal to the reaction. So gravity wouldnt equal its opposite force. Newton says that all forces have to be equal but he was thinkng about natural forces, what 'If' we could create a artifcial force.

If the speed of an object is constant, then its velocity vector and acceleration vectors must be perpendicular.

How do you prove this?
