this year it is 3 ft shorter and 1 ft wider with same area. what is the length and width of last year's garden. please help. i am helping somebody too but i am stuck.

A golf ball is hit with a force of 50 Newton's, disregarding air resistence, and assuming all other quantities are constant, what angle should the ball be hit at to yeild maximum length? Height?

b. Find the fuction A(t) for the area of the ripple in terms of the radius r (I am not sure about this one. Do I just take A=pi (r squared) and put it in terms of r?
