can u tell me some important wars that took place in africa.........not too old of wars and not too popular wars(the ones everyone knows about)????

Look up the Somalia War, 1993 during Cliton's administration. It's started before that time but the U.S. got involved in it in the 90's.

All Egyptian-Israeli wars were important.

They took place in 1948, 1956, 1967 and 1973. Egypt signed a Peace Treaty with Israel in 1979.
