Although not confirmed our conscience is presumed to be part of the electic pulses that happen in our brain/body. I think it would be great if we could literally 'save' people onto hard drive, say for instance, Hawking, and maybe even download him into a robot or something, lol! Seriously though our conscience could then be beamed out through space and who knows who could pick it up or where we could go.

Is it possible to fertilise a different mammal's sperm with female human egg or vice versa, and possibly grow the zygote(if successful fertilization takes place) in human womb or the other species female womb. If this sounds too revolutionary, are these kinds of experiments done to 2 diff species which are very close and derived from a common ancestor.Are these kinds of experiments done anywhere, are they legal?. In nature we see mule is a cross breed of horse and donkey. I am curious to know what happens if we combine diff species at genetic level.

A college library has five copies of a certain text on reserve. Two copies (1 and 2) are first printings, and the other three (3, 4, and 5) are second printings. A student examines these books in random order, stopping only when a second printing has been selected. (One possible outcome is 4, and another is 125.) List the sample space.

if someone can help me out i'd be forever grateful

some of these have subscripts such as 02 (the 2 is a subscript) and N2 (the 2 is a subscript) and H20 and Mg(OH)2

1.) 2Mg (s) + O2 (g) ---> 2 __________ (s)
(magnesium) (oxygen)

2) 3 Mg (s) + N2 (g) ----> __________ (s)
(magnesium) (nitrogen)

3) __________ (s) + 6 H20 (I) ----> 3 Mg(OH)2 (s) + 2 NH3 (g)
(magnesium nitride) (water) (magnesium hydroxide) (ammonia)

4) Mg(OH)2 (s) ------> __________ (s) + H20 (g)
(magnesium hydroxide)

5) What could cause the experimental weight of oxygen to be (a) lower than expected? and (b) higher than expected? (no same answer for both)

6) Suppose the magnesium used in an experiment had a thin oxide coating. How would this affect moles of oxygen per mole of magnesium?

Thank you SO much.

For those who have never heard about it, it suggests that all things -including energy and matter- are made up of extremely small vibrating particles of energy. They say an atom compared to one of these strings would be like comparing the whole solar system to a tree on Earth.

The starting equation is :

4x^2 - 2xy - 8x + y^2 + 2y = 5

I derivate as follow:

8x - 2y - 2xy' - 8 + 2yy' +2y' =0

y' ( -2x + 2y + 2 ) = -8x + 2y +8

y' = ( -8x + 2y +8 ) / ( -2x + 2y + 2 )

= ( y - 4x + 4 ) / ( y - x + 1 )

which I think is right, but my TI gives me this answer with ImpDif function :

( -4x + 4) / ( y + 1 )

Where is my mistake ????
