compare cloning to stem cells how are they simliar how are they different? thank you so much!! any help is much appreciated

Your question is vague and covers much ground. Cloning involves "creating" a duplicate organism of another organism. This is done by "destroying" the DNA of a fertilized egg. Then replacing that destroyed DNA with that of the organism to be cloned.
Stem cells are collected from an existing organism or the umbilical cord. The similarity is that they both involve cells. The difference is the stage of development of the cells. Stem cells are developed cells. A fertilized egg is a single cell that is not really developed yet has the potential to develop into a complex organism.
