I have to explain the importance of standard error of the mean and I kind of get it but don't...a standard error I have is .5094. Is this significant in predicting the sample pop. to the general population, or does that not really tell much?

Perturbative finiteness seems to be the only reason for it, but even in quantum field theory problems fixed at the perturbative level are known to return nonperturbatively. Is this what happens with the nonperturbative eleventh dimension, which is described by nonrenormalizable membrane theory?

It's been too long since my undergrad Astronomy class, so I don't remember if this stuff is relevant: I'm viewing from the Midwest USA, at about 5:30 a.m. I am thinking that thing is too bright to be a star, and it has been visible for days. It seems to me to be moving from right between the legs to just right of Orion's right leg (right as you're looking at him, not "his" right).

The instant an army x miles long starts to march, a solder leaves the rear part of the army for the front and reaches it after the army has traveled x miles. The solder then turns back and travels to the rear of the army at the same rate. In terms of x, what is the total distance traveled by the solder?

I'm a science teacher with a background in biochem. I've just been on a global citizenship course where genetic modification was mentioned once or twice in a very negative manner. I feel very strongly that children should be presented with a balanced view from adults - yes there are potential risks, but there are also lots of benefits. As a student I was apalled that the union canteen advertised GM free food, when this was one of the cutting edge areas of research at the university!
I am interested in peoples opinions on this - and specific examples of the benefits of GM foods in particular.

Consider that there is not exactly perfictly round creators on earth (or is there?) so were these crators created by metiors plunging into the surface of the planet? or is there more to it?

when poulition and muck from within your body builds up and pushes its way through the skin, It causes a perfictly cretor with a built up edge, exactly like a cretor on mars.

could the cretors possibly be caused by a type of wast being expelled from the dead planet?
