The average depth of the ocean is about a mile to a mile and a half deep. The Marianas Trench has been explored in the 1960's in a bathyscaphe, a deep-water submersible like a submarine. That trench is 7 miles deep but there was a controversy regarding their true coordinates. The people in the cockpit claimed they touched bottom but later it was speculated they only went down about 5 miles. They have seen sea cucumbers and sponges at tremendous depths it should also be pointed out.

it ought to take too long for people to accomplish that activity, if ever. i assume I too watched the nationwide Geographic or Discovery channel's software in this. yet did not take under consideration something to jot down right here. yet my guess is that below through loss of oxygen it would be very difficult to discover any greater existence varieties like fishes, reptiles etc. could be a very much less probability of bacterias exists in such depths. Or it ought to be thoroughly sterile "one hundred%" and somewhat saline.
