I'm a lightweight in physics, but from what i have learnt so far is that light has properties of both a particle and of an EMF.
We see the characteristic of light which resembles that of a particle when it is passing through a medium so reduced in velocity.

Is it possible to reduce light to a velocity of 0, if so, would it behave as a particle?

If 'h' is the level of the water when the wooden block is placed with the coin on its top and if 'l' is the height of the water displaced by the wooden block, then, the options are:
(a) l decreases and h increases
(b) l increases and h decreses
(c) both l and h increase
(d) both l and h decrease
choose any one of the 4 options as your answer

Let n belongs to N and given a belongs to Z, let a* represent the congruence class of a modulo n. if a1* = a2* and b1* = b2* for integers a1,a2,b1,b2, then prove that (a1b1)* = (a2b2)*.

if p is a prime, explain why all elements in Z / pZ have multiplicative inverses.

if a, b & c are positive real constants. Find the positive real solutions x, y & z in terms of a, b, & c in the equations:

x + y + z = a + b + c
4xyz - (a²x + b²y + c²z) = abc

Its based on measuring resistance of skin .... the skin resistance goes down due to increase in moisture when one sweats while lying. But its not going to work for false or non-serious lies. Will it work when, say, we wet the skin using water or something ??? I'm only doing this for a high school project ... so that much will be enough.

The length of a rectangle is 1cm longer than its width. If the diagonal of the rectangle is 5cm, what are the length and width of the rectangle?
I came up with 5^2=1+x^2+x^2 so far.

I have an input byte stream consisting of numbers in the set {0 - 15} exclusively of about 1000 bytes.

What I would like to do is to be able to somehow store that mathematically in ONE unsigned integer and then, having in hand the the last byte value that was "encoded" into that unsigned integer, mathematically reverse it back to the original byte stream.

I am hoping there is a way to mathematically encode the values into an integer and then decoding them back.

Do you know how?
