While you might be able to do it when you're using it correctly, try putting it onto the threads of the bottle and this will quickly change.
The crazy thing to think about (no pun intended) is there are people in these adhesive companies that are actually sitting around trying to figure out how to make a bottle that won't spill on itself.
By the way, I wanna know how the dude that figured out a horse could be glue came up with that. Did he just see a horse one day and think, "Hey, I bet that could be made real sticky!"

Superglue needs moisture for it to cure (set) as you will find out if you try to stick your fingers together with the stuff (I don't recommend you try it!).
If you keep the cap moisture free and no moisture gets into the bottle, you will be able to get the cap off fairly easily as the superglue will not have set.

The cap is made of a teflon-like plastic that the glue won't adhere to. However, I have used some brands where the cap did get glued on.

I can NEVER get the top on and off. One tube only lasts for one time and then we end up cutting the top off. Have the same problem with my nail glue, hmmmm.

because there is no air in the lid to react with the glue to cause it to adhere. Also the glue is not designed to oppose torsional force which you apply when you twist the lid off.

it only works when exposed to oxygen so when the lid is placed on it doesnt stick permenantly....
