after the coin falls off, less water will be displaced (the wood will float higher) and the level of the water displaced by the block ( I ) will be lower.

Because the coin is denser than the wood, the water displaced by the coin is less than the water displaced by the WEIGHT of the coin when it was on top of the wood, so the overall height of the water ( h ) will also be lower.

so the answer is (d)

all the four options are wrong.as h is the level of the water at one instant which is a constant.it can never change.
formation of the q is wrong.
if i understand your way d is the correct as wood with higher volume displaces more water than coin.coin with less water displaces less water
