If a 25 foot 1/2 inside diameter pipe was placed vetically, filled with water what would be the PSI? I don't understand the equation below.
What would be the numerical answers to Dw and G
Pressure = P = Dw x G x H
Whereby, P = Pressure in Psi
Dw = Density of Water
G = Gravity in Feet / Second^2
H = Height in feet, distance from A to B whereby
Point A is from the surface of the water
Point B is any point that you wish to calculate but
logically it won't exceed 25 feet.

so that space ships would merely have to push off to get into space rather than strap a ton of explosives and prayer to your back and hope you make it. or would that put strain on the gravity of the earth causing it to crumble? we have the resources why not do it, unless there is some reason not too.

Olbar suggested that the night sky is dark because the universe was finite in its existance. He deduced that, if the universe was inifinitely old, then in every direction in which you looked, you eye would fall upon a star. One of the 'best answers' to this question when it was last asked, addressed an expanding universe, not an infinitely old universe. If we look at Olbars Paradox in an inifinely old universe, the the question becomes, since we know that stars have a finite life time, could all stars in that infinely old universe that are older than a certain life (say older than 100,000 year) have simply burned out and is, therefore, no longer emitting light, making it impossible to see them? Here we can have an infiniteyl old universe and still retain our 'dark sky' at night.

Since that would mean that the diameter must be 27.4 Billion light years in diameter, should we not be able to see objects farther than 13.7 light years away (unless we are in the very center, which from mathematical probabilty is VERY unlikely). So, what is the proper explanation for the absence of the record of longer distances being observed?

∫1/(cos² x + sin² x) dx from ∏ to 0 =
∫sec² x/(1+tan² x) dx = arctan (tan x) |∏ to 0 = 0

i know the mistake is with arctan (tan x) |∏ to 0 , but i cannot show why, as
∫f'(x)/(a²+(f(x))² dx = 1/a arctan[(f(x)/a]....can someone enlighten me? thanks

I have my own beliefs on this topic but I am curious about other people's opinion. It seems that in the US people seem to think that science is a more subjective field similar to pyschology or philosophy. I know the scientists themselves feel very differently about this, but why is this the case?

based on market research :

if the sales of a product are high
the company can make a profit of $3.1million/year
if 'so so', make a profit of $1.5million/year
if sales are low then lose $0.5million

the probabilities for the two profit scenarios are 0.65 and 0.14 respectively

calculate the standart deviation of profit for the prodcut in millions to 3 decimal places

too hard to put the standard deviation formular here
my answer is
[0.65-(0.65+0.14)/n]square/n-1=
if the n is =2
then =0.065025
open root =0.255

does it seem right to you?

repects for y'all who check this answer for me.
thx a lot.
