for science class we have to make a one page paper on how humans see.. but the trick is, we cant use science so we have to create some theory without science about how we see.
I need ideas quick! Please! any crazy idea will work!

What are some figures of speech based on real feelings? I thought of three: blood boiling, lump in my throat and heartache.

When you say, "My blood is boiling" you don't actually feel bubbling in the veins but you feel a hot flush, your muscles tighten and constrict, heart pounds. This one is easy to explain - I think the rush of anger raises the blood pressure and temperature too, thus the feeling your blood is boiling.

We've all had a lump in our throat when we encounter something sad, touching or heartbreaking. It's hard to swallow - why?

When you say, "My heart aches" sometimes that is true. A deep profound sadness does seem to cause a heavy ache in the breastbone. Every breath seems heavier, your chest can even physically ache where your heart is. Sometimes it feels like it swells up in your chest. It must be some sort of response from the body to emotion, but what are the physiogical explanation for this very real feeling of heartache?

There is what I think is a planet in the south eastern sky when you look at it through a telescope it has 2 what may be moons to the right and it looks like another to the left of it. Now the moons could be stars but you cannot seem them with the naked eye you can only see them through the telescope. I have searched for the answer online but cannot find it. It is white and perfectly round. If you look to the east it is to the left of the sunset. Oh someone please help me it is driving me crazy!!!!!!!!!!!!! Thank you.

If a worker and her helper can refabulate a widget in 2 days; the worker and her apprentice can do it in 3 days; the helper and apprentice together can do it in 6 days, how many days would it take each of them working alone?

According to the IAU, a planet must:

• Orbit it's central star

• Be big enough for its own gravity to compact it into a sphere

• Have "cleared the neighborhood around its orbit," meaning it is not surrounded by objects of similar size and characteristics.

OK, Pluto clearly meets the first two criteria, but can someone tell me if there are any planet-sized objects close to Pluto that would expell Pluto from planethood?
