for science class we have to make a one page paper on how humans see.. but the trick is, we cant use science so we have to create some theory without science about how we see.
I need ideas quick! Please! any crazy idea will work!

The aliens send signals to your brain using satellite dishes. These signals contain information on what they want you to see.. for all you know the world could be black and white. The aliens are controlling us, man.

Recall the Matrix. It's all just electric pulses sent into the brain.
I would close my eyes and think about what sensations and perceptions I'm missing. I mean, how can I not use any science at all.
I already have a good idea of what the concept of light is, so I would think somehow the light energy in our surroundings gets transduced into electrical energy in our brain so we can perceive it. How it gets transduced is anyone's guess. Sorry, I don't want to speculate on the transduction part since my knowing of the actual process could bias your paper.
