I know most things about it, like the fact that the ship becaome invisible, and teleported to another port and then back to philadelphia, and that the after-effects on the sailors were horrible. like insanity, people disappearing, people on fire, and sailors fused to the deck of the ship. supposedly, some jumped off the ship as they were "teleporting" and ended up in an airforce base in 1981, so possibly time travel?

Sammy bought a pound of butter and divided it up into 50 equal pieces. He gave 7 pieces to Sue, 3 pieces to Bobbie, and 1 piece to his mother. Later in the evening he cut the remaining pieces in half and gave 1/4 of them to Kirby. What was left he threw up in the air and the following happened: he caught 50% in his mouth, 20% in his left hand, and 10% in his right hand, and the remaining ones fell in a perfect stack. He cut the stack in half and tell me, how many pieces were left?

I have 2 parents, (had) 4 grandparents, 8 great-grandparents, 16 great- great grand parents etc. If every generation lasts approx 40 years then 400 years ago about 2 to the power 10 (1,024) people were alive who were my ancestors. Follow me so far?

2000 years ago, is about 40 generations ago. So 2 to the power 40 people must have been alive who were my ancestors. That's about 1million, million people. (one billion in the US, 1000 million in the UK).

But there simply weren't that many people on the earth at that time. So was everyone alive 2000 years ago my ancestor?
