All I got were pointless answers, some even suggested I read a novel.Yeah,I always read novels as reference. The complete question is I'm looking for the term or specific field of study of the relationship between math and science.I've been a serious musician for 22 years and I just want the term because I can't remember what it is.My math skills increased ten fold after I became serious about my instrument and I know there is a term for this field of study. Please help cause I rarely forget this kind of thing and it's driving me nuts

I realize everybody has some general ideas about a foreign country, but i'm just wondering if people can think of something else than Amsterdam, Drugs, red light districs etc. (or they start about windmills, tulips and cheese which hasn't got anything to do with Holland for a long time).
