One of the most intelligent is actually the Crow. They ahve demonstrated great intelligence in problem solving and tool use.
There have been many studies done on these animals.
Im sorry I have to go now, and I dont have time to research the articles, but Im sure that if you research a little on the internet, you'll see that the crow is by far one of the most intelligent animals on the planet.
And for everyone that says that humans are the most intelligent, thats a load of BULL!!!!!!
we are the only creatures on the planet stupid enough to kill ourselves and take unneccessary risk (smoking, bugee jumping, skiing, driving, drinking)
We are also the only animals on the planet stupid enough to kill more than we can eat, we whaste food on a regular basis and we go out of our way to deplete limited resources (fresh water, clean air, forest, green spaces)

Apes are one of the smartest animals. They have the ability to comprehend to en extent the right from wrong, which for an animal is quite astonishing, however, not to the human level....that's why they are animals.
When it comes down to mamals, dolphins are the smartes ones. They understand human directions quite well and are the only mamals to have sex for pleasure. Their brains are bigger then the rest of the mamals. Other mamals, just like many animals, have sex because it is a part of their reproductive nature and it comes more like a "calling" then a need for pleasure.
