This is the email I recieved but I'm thinking that this happened last year.
This month and next, Earth is catching up with Mars in an encounter that
will culminate in the closest approach between the two planets in
recorded history. The next time Mars may come this close is
in 2287. Due to the way Jupiter's gravity tugs on
Mars and perturbs its orbit, astronomers can only be
certain that Mars has not come this close to Earth
in the Last 5,000 years, but it may be as long as
60,000 years before it happens again.
Can anyone give me more insight on this please?

The sun rises over Cayuga Lake, horse and buggies travelling to/from church, wineries begin to come to life, B & B's, fine restaurants (and some not so fine),Walmarts all around, skydivers taking off for their first jump, car racing coming to the area soon, farms, small villages, rolling hills - I could list other landmarks but it might be a dead giveaway

I'm looking for a single pole electric switch kind of like a foot operated sewing machine switch. The catch is that it has to have nomally closed contacts which open when the foot switch is depressed. I'm wanting to incorporate it into a kill switch for my bass boat.
