The frog climbs 3ft and slips back 2ft. the frog actually climbs 1 ft per hour. so it will take the frog 30 hours to climb the 30ft wall. Or 1day (24Hours) plus 6 hours

Effectively he is climbing at 1 ft per hour. after 27 hours he is at 27 feet. At 28 hours he leaps 3 feet and gets out over the edge of the wall, there is no sliding back now.
