Eruptions appear to have a correlation between the duration of an eruption and the length of time before the next eruption. Suppose you collected the following data (in minutes) where x represents the duration of an eruption and y equals the time interval before the next eruption:

(1.80, 56) , (1.98, 59) , (2.37, 61) , (3.78, 79) , (4.30, 84) , (4.53, 89)

Use this data to predict the interval for the next eruption if the duration of the last one was 2.82 minutes

Should both Darwin's theory of evolution, which most scientists believe in, as well as the idea that Darwin's theory is wrong and that God created everything, which maybe 1-2% of the scientists believe in, also be taught in public school or at least something written in the school science book that states as follows: "most scientists believe in Darwin's theory of evolution, but there are other scientists who belive by their observation of the world and by their inference that the world was created by God and that the theory of evolution has never been proven."

The following is an actual question given on a University of Washington chemistry mid-term. The answer was so "profound" that the
professor shared it with colleagues, which is why we now have the pleasure of enjoying it. Bonus Question: Is Hell exothermic (gives off
heat) or endothermic (absorbs heat)?
i would like to see what you have to say abou this question what your thought is. in about an hour i will post the anwser given by the student.

What area would liquefaction have its most effect? Is there any possibility of a breach of the aquifer? Would the levee fall? Would older structures such as the Peabody Hotel fall? Would other structures in the downtown area sink? How far eastward would be affected? Could the Mississippi River flood and if so, to what degree?

I'm sorry, I realize how elementary this is and I'm pretty sure of the answer but I just need to be positive.

Someone asked a similar question here and the answers were all contradicting, so please answer ONLY factually.

Obviously we have dominant hands, dominant eyes, and dominant feet, but does the brain prefer to recieve messages from a certain ear. (providing both ears are at fairly equal hearing capacities and you are not deaf in one ear)
Also, since almost no two ears are exactly the same on your head, is it because of a reason that one may be different? Or is it a natural asymetrical occurance?

Isn't it offensive to anybody else that they tell us we came from monkeys. Give me a break. Why arn't monkeys still turning into humans? Not to mention the fact that Darwin admitted to making it up. Now I now your all going to say freedom of choice and I agree. If you want to pretend you came from a chimp thats fine with me, but if we really have freedom of choice then teach both evolution and creation. Let the kids decide if we came from monkeys or from God, but I think its much better to consider ourselves desined then accidentally BANGED together.
