I'm dark skinned, hair, eyes (very dark almost Native dark)...my husband is very fair (sandy hair, blue eyes)...can ne1 tell me why dominate features did NOT prevail and my daughter is very light like her father?

Because it's all random and there is a chance that light hair and eyes would win - it's the magic of recombination - you cannot assume that dark hair will always dominate.

The whole gene situation is by pure chance. Do you have genes for light skin?

You may have a recessive gene for the traits your husband possesses.
