What frequency or wavelength are the lasers used to cut metal?

mainly CO2 lasers are used for these purposes.
Wavelength is 10.6µm (mid infrared)

Definitely CO2 lasers and definitely in the infrared ( not visible ) frequency range. Can't say for sure but the 640 nm sure rings a bell.
