Ah, the ratio of a circle's circumference to its diameter, how quaint. But why the heck is this number so significant in so many other equations that explain our world? Why Pi?

I am thinking that there must be some upper limit beyond which the nuclear forces which hold atoms and molecules together would begin to fail. In other words, how fast does something have to vibrate to shatter at the molecular or atomic level? If you can give an answer in term of hertz (hZ) that would be fine, or explain any misconceptions I have in my question. Does this possiblly cross over into 'hyperstring' theory?

oh yes ice age there was even a theory around (about 1986 ?) that we were preventing the ice age through our activity (the best of that era(70's-80's) was the plan to spread carbon dust on the poles to absorb more solar radiation ) hey look it up yourself ain't science fun (if you look at the history of the earth we ARE due for an ice age maybe we did ...)

Recently there has been speculation that life on earth was origionally created when an asteroid containing bacteria (or archaeabacteria) collided into earth. The bacteria then inhabited the earth, evolving into algae, then into reptiles, into mammals, then eventually into humans.
What do you think?

No "God answers" please. Think about this seriously (not that believing in God and creationism is not serious). Are we from them or are they from us? I mean ALL mammals including man have their hip bone connected to their knee bone and their knee bone connected to their ankle bone etc., etc..

All over USA, everywhere was 100 Degrees or higher, There were many blackouts in many cities, im guessing everyone using the AC, thousand of farm animals dieing due to the heat, even a problem with ice on the news?!! i thought i never see that on the news. Apparantly the ice factories are excessivly making more ice because every restaurant/people are asking for more. The employees stay extra hours and still doesnt make enough. They sell most of it be the next morning.

Yeah, well global warming has striked us harder and sooner than we thought and it will just get worse every year.

The directions say: Evaluate the expression.

1) -12 ^ -2

Would I put a 1 over the -12 and make the exponent of -2 posative 2?
As in:
1/(-12)^2

If I am correct with that, can I go one step further and make the fraction 1/(-144)?

our proof seems to hinge on software since we can't actualy observe these changes ( wait- is this the same software that predicts the weather) and of course we must trust the scientist to be objectable ( wait- cold fusion) what the hell is going on in science these days (when grant money and fame awaits how much trust can there be) YES I KNOW multiple teams ( not possible the same software/model was used now is it ? see all of the above again please)
