Venus spins on its axis on the opposite side as the other planets from the Solar System. Why is that so? Is there any special reason? Thank you.

A hand-drill manufacturer that produces two models, regular and portable, must assemble at least 100 drills for each day’s delivery. The regular drill requires 2 hrs of preparation and costs $10 and the portable requires 5 hrs of preparation and costs $15. The dealer’s objective is to minimize his total cost of preparation given that he has 400 preparation hrs available each day and at least 40 portables must be assembled each day.

With the recent discovery of huge lakes of hydrocarbons on Saturn's moon Titan, can we possible set up a refueling station out in space to help future long distance space missions? Would they also have a 24 hour convenience store or Dunkin Donuts?

Three bees flew into my jar of honey this morning after breakfast. I gently removed them with a spoon and put the lid back on the honey, with the knowledge that I'd probably forget the bees had been there, and that tomorrow morning I'd probably dip into the same jar of honey for my breakfast. Here's the thing: if three houseflies or three cockroaches, silverfish, or spiders (I think) - or even one - had gotten in there, I'd've been grossed out & would probably have thrown the honey out. Is this preference for bees - and ants, sometimes - this notion that they're "clean" completely irrational? (I know that bees produce honey, of course, but it would be the same if a bee dropped into a glass of milk; I wouldn't mind that much, & would probably take reasonable care to get it out without harming it. So it's not just the connection to honey that underlies the difference in the way I react to these little beasties.)
