Silly question...... lol
What I would like to know is, if there were not any "fat" people, would anyone be considered "skinny"?
Good ol' human race comes in every shape & size, eh? Oh well, the world is certainly much like a fruitcake.... it just wouldn't be complete, without a few nuts!
; )

IF there were only "fat" people and one of them actually did become "skinny" I imagine that the latter person would then be cast from society as an anomaly and perhaps even shunned.

Reason being is that society rejects what it doesn't consider the norm. In our society "fat" people, particularly the very obese, are looked upon as abnormal and the reaction is usually one of assumptions. Either the person just loves to eat and not care about their looks, or they are people who are expected to lose their weight in order to avoid certain health risks.

I imagine "skinny" people in a "fat" peoples' world would be looked upon almost the same way some people today look upon "fat" people.

Of course, as in our society, I think there would be those who simply accept the "skinny" person as they are...those people however, would likely be the ones who knew the person before they became "skinny" and those who really allowed others to live their own life their way/.
