I was watching the news the other day when they broadcasted that the shuttle was getting ready to return to earth. As Iwas watching the astronauts, I wondered: "How do they go to the restroom?" I know that question sounds ridiculous, but it is worth answering.

I bought the van from a smoker and afterwards I noticed that I have headaches when I drive for a long distance. Sometimes I smell and sometimes I don't smell the tobacco smell. But I get the headache most of the time. Funny thing is that other passengers many times don't smell anything. Still I feel like subjecting myself and my family to the harms of second hand smoke while in the van.

In the movies, people get shot in the chest and collapse and die instantly.

But that doesn't make sense, unless the person is hit in the brain or central nervous system. (When people have heart attacks, they don't instantly die.)

So in reality, I want to know how many seconds the brain stays conscious after the heart fails due to gunshot.
