My thornless blackberry bush is producing fruit and half is ripe while the other half is not ripe is there something wrong with my plant

the bottom half of the blackberry is black while the top half is red on the berry

if the unripe part of it does not ripe at all it is a problem that may be caused by poor conditions - too dry, too dark (like under trees)too little nutrition (try watering it or fertilizing or if you have too many poor blackberries try cutting the branches shorter after season so the plant does not grow too much and exhaust itself next year - so you will have less blackberries but better quality)

when the weather is hot and dry i got the same, tiny little fruit that doesnt ripe well

Well maybe giving it more time will even things out. It could be that halfof your plant is receiving a differnet amount of sunlight or nutrients thatn the other. I doubt there's something seriously wrong with the plant. Give it time. It'll probably all ripen.

Maybe the unripe half are going to take a little longer....Do you think all the fruit should arrive at exactly the same time?

maybe the fruit ripens from the tip to the stem
