Most households are have a ground connection that connects to the copper plumbing in your house. (This may even be a [old?] code requirement.) A lightning strike can easily travel along the pipe through the water you are bathing in and deliver a lethal dose of current. Not a very high probability of it happening, but it can.

Yes, you should not take bath at open space under open sky during thunderstorm. But you can in bathroom.

We were under a tornado warning and I had to take a shower before I went to the neighbors to watch the approaching storm. I didnt want to go out in public without showering!

Your more likely to be struck by lighting if your in a bathtub while outside your house - since lightning strikes at the highest point - though I wouldn't recommend it...
