We are a species of explorers, but have explored pretty well our whole world. We have overpopulated this globe and show no signs of stopping that process. Even if these two facts did not exist, there are many possible natural disasters that could lead to our sudden extermination if we continue to live on only one planet. Do you think that we should drastically expand our exploration and development of space with an eye to beginning colonization of near space within the lifetime of people living today?

Is 2^3^2 = 64 or 512? I have a Casio fx-115MS calculator that calculates it left to right and gives me 64 and my TI-92 plus calculator apparently does this from right to left and gives me 512.

Is color interpeted differently between people? If I see Blue does somebody else see it as Red but call it Blue because thats what it is to them. Like what I interpet as Blue may really be viewed as what I consider Red by someone else, but to them it is there Blue. Maybe people interpet colors differently from one another.

I've read this priciple in a couple of books and they say sth like this,
"The Constants of our universe are what we observe them to be because, otherwise we would not be there to experience it."
Why should we be here in the first place? Why is it necessary for us to be here? This principle, to me, somehow indicates the presence of a creator.. who selected the present universe for life to exist.

I read on an astronomy site that our sun's rays are blue-green (peak wavelength of 500 nm), but we see it as yellow due to Earth's atmosphere. I guess that is like looking though the blue part of 3-D googles. Has anyone heard of this before? Why did I just hear of this? source - http://www.mira.org/fts0/stars/114/txt001w.htm

Think about it, We have found no metals on Mars, Venus or any other planets (correct me on this) and if so I believ there are stronger and more restistant elements in space and planets like a lightweight metal able to stand many times the heat during the Space Shuttle's descent into the earth's atmosphere. Anyway, if you have any information on this, I would really thank you for posting it for me. Thanks people.

I never seem to get this straight, and I've heard two ways of saying. In a traditional Chinese folktale, the lightening is the wife, while the thunder is the husband. They are constantly watching over the people in the world to see if there's anyone who ill treats her/his parents. The wife uses the "mirror" which is the ligtening for the husband to see clearly, and then the husband throws the weapon "thunder" to kill that person. According to this folktale, lightening goes before thunder. Is it correct? Help needed to clear up my muddled mind. Thanks.

During the Matrix Reloaded, a physicist noted that a human being skydiving or flying at that speed will not only break almost all of your limbs but rip off any protruding excremities including the male's genitals. Now as odd as this is, I need some verification as the websites are fuzzy on explanations. And in my opinion, it seems well than enough to but I need more opinions. thanks
