Because not enough people learn enough about history to avoid making the same dumb mistakes again.

The idea that history repeats itself is a fallacy, it
doesn't and can't repeat itself exactly. Certain
aspects of history may recur, but there is always
some difference between the original event and
the repetition. The idea of repetition is more a
result of which parts of history human beings
select for their attention than of actual recurrence
of events.

humans are very similar to say cats.look at them they usually do exactly as each other so do humans .if the lot of us tend to live like each other and i mean a majority of us (being born grow up go to school inter life marry have kids fight each other for more money and then die)we are bond to make the same decisions over and over again and all those decisions are not mistakes,so keep doing this in a long period of time and you will have a history which seems to keep repeating itself

It repeats itself due to human error. We as people sometimes don't think of the past and do something very stupid and it repeats over and over. theres nothing we can do about this. We have no control over the destiny of every human being in this world and the its self nothing we can do. Just sit back and go with the flow thats all we can do about it.

Because time does not exist. period. WE progress 3D thru changing bodies of logic and not 2D and linear like most people understand the progression of "time" there is no future no past, just this one MOMENT and that MOMENT is forever changing just the body of the initial logic changes . Take for instance ocean sailing. the sea lanes and routes have not changed for millinea , the NEED for oceanic travel has not changed, but the logic body, the ships have changed .from sail to nuclear power, changing logic is the progression of time if you would, Ancient Greeks and Egyptians would have no problem understanding every thing we have today, Why? because they understood and mapped out three dimensionally and beyond ALL the logic systems of all humanity. the main logic has been here all along.

It's not just history that repeats. Everything goes in a cycle, that's all. If you believe in reincarnation, even our lives repeat. Haven't you ever gotten "deja vu"?

Generally because people are too thick to learn from the mistakes of the past. Cruising here for an hour will confirm this quite easily.

I have hope for future generations ... but it fades fast when I'm surfing the net. T__T;
