White noise is "a random signal of every frequency in the audio spectrum, all of which have an average uniform power level." It supposed to be good for blocking out outside noises, especially helpful when you are trying to fall asleep.

Sturated fats are formed by a carboxyl head attached to a string of carbons. If all of the carbons are bound by two hydrogens (3 on the tip), it is considered to be saturated. Saturated = completely filled. If there is at least 1 double bond between two carbons, the shape of the chain changes, and since there are now two carbons not bonded to two hydrogens, it is no longetr saturated w/ hydrogens-- it is unsaturated. Double bonds are harder to break that single bonds. Why is it then that unsturated and polyunsaturated fats are healithier, even though they contain bonds that are harder to break? Shouldn't the saturated fats be easier to break apart?

I really want to do better at the math section of the GMAT, but all the test prep companies offer is quick fixes that are supposed to help you guess better as well as tricks. I know all the basic concepts, so I can review how to find an area of a circle all day and it doesn't help me.

I want to learn how to actually get better at understanding and solving complex math problems so that I can do better on the test. Is this possible?

Today I saw a rainbow in a perfect ring around the sun. The weather was 85 degrees and a little cloudy. It was the most amazing thing. Does anyone have any idea what causes this to happen or what it means?

If I were Captain, I would blast every Romulan ship out of existence as soon as I saw it. "Oh, help!" say the Romulans, "Were broken down in outer space. Fix our warp engine!" "OK. says Picard we'll help." The next thing you know, the Enterprise is trapped, or the blind guy is walking through walls, or something. The next thing you know, there are the Romulans asking for help again. And, it all starts again.
