There are only two spiders native to the entire United States that are dangerous - the black widow and the brown recluse.
The black widow is native to Michigan, the brown recluse is not. However, the brown recluse has been found in Michigan, mostly in heated buildings (transported there from other areas).

Thanks to the cold winters, northern states are largely poisonous spider and snake free. While animals could be accidentally transported from anywhere in the world, I cannot think of any reason why Michigan would be worse (spider wise) than Minnesota or Wisconson.
