Trying to Conceive - March 2007

Just wonderring. Did I get pregnant on 5th day of my period when my husband finished inside me or on my 12-13th day when we had sex but he pulled? Normal cycle is 28 days. I am just interested. Thank you.

I've been feeling sick and tired all the time mostly like i want to throw up especially when something is been cooked or around food court.I'm also experiencing swollen feet,stomach cramp and my belly and breast have grown bigger.I'm scared of taking preg test.What can I do....?

How long should I wait after taking out my Copper T IUD to conceive (haven't even called the doc yet because this won't happen til next year, I am just trying to look at the calender.)

my boyfriend an i are trying to concieve. i ovulated from feb 14 to the 19th 2 weeks ago . we had sex everyday that week a few times daily. I think i could be pregnant i have weird symptoms like loss of appetite, severely thirsty sleeping all day ..... but today is march 4th and i have light bleeding and severe crramping. (my period). Should i have missed my period or is it to soon? When did you miss your period after concieving?

Is it possible, to not be ovulating at all but have consistant 25-26 day cycles? I was told my progesterone level was low, but she took the test late in my cycle thinking it was 28 days, but my periods are always regular, how so if im not ovulating at all?

Just wondering on the average really!
Been trying for baby for 5 months with no joy, tried ovulation test kits for me, and yet nothing!

Does any one think that it is too early to go to the docts for some tests? regarding why i haven't fallen preg yet?

Have any of you successfully got preg whilst desperately TTC & been thinking of it literally 24/7?

I'd love to hear that some of you have as I don't know if I believe it actually makes a difference if you are conscientiously TTC or not. I agree you shouldnt just make babies but is it really a pyschological issue or just a physical thing?

I really haven't been trying up to now - just relaxed with a glass of wine & enjoyed sex - but after 2 cycles no joy & now it hasn't happened i'm worried I'm going to become obsessive & not sure whether I should just stop being too absorbed about it. But is this really possible? I can't believe it didnt happen this cycle as I had sex 3 times/wk Day1-28!! I know there's more to it than that but I've had a child & a m/c so know I can get preg. First time round I was oblivious to the hows & whys of getting preg & sometimes ignorance is bliss - now I know too much!! So what do you do? Just wish wine & childbirth went hand in hand! Thanks x

i'm 8 days late and no sign of my period i've been tired lately and alot more hungry too my breast have been sore but on and off and my nipples seen to be a little bit darker than normal and i also wake up in the morning feeling sick now and again i'm going to boots tomorrow to get a test but i was wondering do you guys think i am and oh yeah when i wake up in the mornings to i get a pain in my tummie and then when i go for a wee it go's so what do you think?

Since my mc in Oct 2005, i have had 4 AF's 28 day cycles, since i started trying again (past 2 cycles) i havd had 28 day cycles and ovulated anywhere between cd 16 - 19. first cycle bfn, 2nd cycle trying waiting to find out. WHo has had cycles like this and either got a BFP or had issues concieving.

i had a son back in Oct 2005. it took me 8 months to get prego, hubby was working out of town and i had him coming home around cd 12- 15, unaware that my O'ing was much later. so i do know i can get prego but this whole short Luteal phase is freaking me out.

i also had mc in Oct 2006 at 9 weeks.

I have successfully detected my LH Surge using OPKs for the past 8 months but am still not pregnant. I have detected them around the 17th day which is when I expected. However, I have been reading on this site and a few people have said that if you get a "milky mucus" a few days after your period this is normal as this is the day you are ovulating. Is this correct? I have noticed a milky/creamy discharge a couple of times after my period. Does this mean that I am ovulating? And getting my timing for intercourse totally wrong. Advice would be great xx

I am sure I am ovulating today my cm is abundant and elastic, we had sex Friday night, so if I am ovulating today are the chances of getting pregnant good? If I understand everything right it is best to have the sperm waiting for the egg, we are also trying for a girl so isnt it best to have sex right before ovuation rather than the day of? THANKS

I have been TTC for 9 months without success. I went to my GP yesterday and she wasnt much help really. I wanted to know more about how to go about IUI. I am in the UK and am not sure if I can get this treatment on the NHS or have to pay. My GP has given me appointments to test my "21 day" cycle to make sure if I am ovulating OK and then after that I am not sure what will happen. Should I just contact a clinic independently and go through the motions with them. Any advice would be great. xx

Ok i am 19 an my husband is 21 an about 7 months ago we got pregnant. I was about 3 months when i had a miscarage it was on Oct 10 i know what caused it i have endometryosis. So after the miscarage i had a laporoscopy on Jan 17. An now all we can think about is having a baby thats all we want! I went to my DC an she said i ovulate on the Feb 27 so we had sex on that day. We were told to try that hole month an if it don't work, she wants to put me on fertility pills this month But i'm scared i only want one baby an was told there is a chance of multiple births with the pill. I already have a chance of twins my mom is a twin! So if you have any advice on my situation please write to me an help me!!

tell me your stories about your implantation bleeding. I think I may have implantation bleeding, but not sure because I have never been pregnant before. But from doing research, It is a strong possibility, but I don't want to get over excited, only to be disappointed once again. I am married and ttc. I have a short cycle, but I started to spot on 3/2 AF was expected on 3/3 both days were light, only saw pink when I wiped. Me and hubby BD last night, and when we were done there was nothing, and today 3/4 still nothing. I don't have any symptoms of AF/ PREGNANCY with the exception of 3/3 I had moderate cramping for like a minute or two, and when I went to the bathroom it was like maybe 3 good spots that of corse looked like alot once it hit the panty liner because it had spread a little bit, and after that no blood, no cramps, or nothing. do you think that this is what I am experiencing? I know that I need to do a hpt, but it is still to early to tell, I just wanted info while I wait

I am a mother and have finished having my family. My sister in law cannot carry a baby and is desperate for a family. She is an amazing woman with a loving husband. I have done a lot of soul searching and am 100% certain that i could carry her baby for her. I feel that it would be such a rewarding experience for me.And this lady really deserves to have children and will make a awesome mother. I have two questions regarding this....
(A) how would you bring this subject up with your husband. Do you think that is too much to ask of my husband that he watch me carry somone elses child? It is his sister.But i want to make sure that i bring it upproperly and am sure of his feelings. What would we need to consider, for his side of things? I do not want him to end up resenting me for it or for that matter, his sister and brother in law.I should add that we would dearly love to have another child but it is just not finacially possible for us. Will he end up resenting it because of that?

Has anyone gotten pregnant using the saliva scope and noticed a change in patterns while pregnant? I bought a scope a few months back and really like it. I have always been able to find me fertile days without a problem. This month was just like the past and I found my fertile days but now that I am five days before my period I have noticed a transitional ferning pattern for the past 3 days. I guess i am wondering if this has happened to anyone else? Does this mean I may be having a second ovulation or could it indicate pregnancy? Temps are quite high and I've had a headache but no other real symptoms and neg HPT this morning (i know it's early still) thanks for your answers!
