At this point a home test would be about 98% accurate so go test! Just be sure to use a test that detects 25 mIU/mL or less of the pregnancy hormone hcg. Go here to get a list of tests and their sensitivities (www.peeonastick.com) Also, be sure to either use first morning urine or hold your urine for at least 4 hours and don't consume any liquids so your urine won't be diluted. Good luck and let us know the results!!

If it is due today then you might still want to use an early results test to make sure it picks it up (like First Response) and for better results use first morning urine. It will have the highest concentration of HCG in it. There are several early results brands that you can try. Also, remember that if you get a negative result on this test but no period then you should test again in a few days b/c it is not uncommon for women not to receive a positive on a home test until 1 week after their missed period. If you can't wait that long a drs blood test will be able to tell for sure and if the result is negative he/she will be able to tell you what is keeping your period away. Oh, & if you take a home test, remember that the positive line may be faint but that if it is visible is still a positive! when you test this early the hormone doesn' t have time to build up a lot so the line may not be very dark. Best Wishes!

Yes. Almost any home test will give you an accurate result at this point.
