I am sure I am ovulating today my cm is abundant and elastic, we had sex Friday night, so if I am ovulating today are the chances of getting pregnant good? If I understand everything right it is best to have the sperm waiting for the egg, we are also trying for a girl so isnt it best to have sex right before ovuation rather than the day of? THANKS

If you would like to know when you are ovulating for sure, get an ovulation test kit, it will help. If you are indeed ovulating today, then having sex on Friday was smart. And that is one of the suggested ways of conceiving a girl, of course none are full proof. You have a 50/50 chance of conceiving a girl or a boy. Now it's just a waiting game. You can test in two weeks or if your period is late, which ever comes first. Good luck!!
