Trying to Conceive - January 2007

My last period was on 11th December so that is 40 days ago. I had my usual sore nipples last week that I get before my period is due and since Friday I've been getting dull 'pulling' like ache in my lower abdomen which makes me feel like my period is going to start and minute. I was also very moody and irritable on Monday and Tuesday which is slao a big sign for me. Last night I was getting the mild cramps and felt really 'wet' like period was going to start but it still didn't. Anyway I did a Clear Blue 4 days early test this morning and it came up not pregnant. I only came off the pill in November so I dont really know my usual cycle length yet but last month it was 34 days. Basically I just wanted to know if its still possible that I could be pregnant or if these tests are usually pretty accurate.
Forgot to say that my breasts dont seem very tender any more but I do seem to be going to the toilet more often.

i was wondering if there is any good advice, besides the obvious, for conceiving and preparing for baby. me and my very longtime boyfriend have decided we want to start planning to start our family and i wanted to know everything i should know about what needs to be done! we are pretty financially prepared i just want to know what other little things i should know and any tips for actually conceiving, i think we might run into a little trouble there because i was told i might have some difficulty. anyways thanks a bunch!

I have every symptom possible saying that I am pregnant. I even had implantation spotting (was very very pale pink with clear mucus...sorry) but it only lasted 2 1/2 days, where my period lasts about 5 or 6 and NEVER did i experience a period like that! Just wondering if anyone else had a blood test done saying they weren't pregnant...but found out later that they were.

It may be called something different in other countries, that's the Australian name. You spit into a small tube and then look for a certain pattern which tells you if you are fertile.

are there any calculators or guidelines for ttc with an irregular period...other than having sex every 1-2 days???? i used to be regular till i got married and my stepson moved in with us...then the stress level went up...and i haven't been regular since he left...any suggestions??? THANKS!!!

Ok...I have my period exactly every other month. My husband and I are going to start trying to get pregnant, am I unable or am I just extremly paranoid?! Does anyone else have an issue like this? My sister and my mom were the same way and they both had kids just fine, help me......advice please?!!!

Serious & realistic responses only please.

I am between 50-60 lbs overweight but would be happy losing 20-35 lbs.

We want to try to get pregnant in the next month and a half to two months (March) but I DO want to lose weight first.

We've been married for almost 4 years and don't want to put off starting our family for me to lose more weight...I've already lost and successfully kept off 15 pounds.

Any suggestions?

I am only 10 dpo and negative test but these circles were not here before. Period is due tomorow.
Also had about a couple dabs of colostrum. I got colostrum very early in previous pg's(not this early about 8-12 weeks). But a year after my last(3 yrs now) I got a drop as well and was definately not pg, so I'm wondering??

I am just here to ask a few questions because i think i might be pregnant. I am 19 years old and engaged so please bare with me. Me and my fiance had sex on my fertle days this month which were the 7th and 8th, i ovulated the 10th. I have been having some weird stomach pains, idk i cant really explain it, sometimes i feel a lil sick but they say the first sign is missed period which i dont start until the 26th. I have been having some discharge that is sticky (sorry had to describe it) ever since the 8th and i have no idea if it is bc i have concieved or what...so can someone please let me know if this has ne thing to do with pregnancy or what?

I had sex about two weeks before I thought I ovulating. I then got scared that my husband and I may be pregnant, so I went to the doctor and set up an appointment to get an IUD. The midwife who saw me asked me when I had sex, and didn't even bother to do a test. She said "well then so you aren't pregnant". I can't help but wonder if you have sex a week after your period, there must be SOME chance. I worry about what will happen if I am pregnant and they go in there to insert the birth control. I just wonder because lately I've had serious pain (with a condition I have I WOULD have pain if I was pregnant), I've had a terrible taste in my mouth all the time, and I'm tired as can be! It could all be nothing, but I just wonder. Is it really not possible to have sex a week after your period and get pregnant?

This week I ate "Subway" cold cut trio almost every day... I was craving for it.... but then I see all this information to avoid deli meat cause it can cause birth defects. Am at risk? What are the signs of listeria infections anyways? Also, when I bought my sandwiche, I made sure that they microwave the meat. Is my baby going to be fine?

This cycle, I ovulated on day 19. I am charting my BBT temps. Day 16 and 17, I had eggwhite CM. Day 18, I had creamy and on day 19 (ovulation day according to my chart) I had sticky CM. I had sex on days 17 and 18. Is it possible to still have concieved with this type of CM on my charted ovulation day?

I have dark circles around the outside of my areolas that were not there before, sore breasts, full and tight feeling in my lower abs right about pelvic bone. No morning sickness at all, but my appetite has been off and on and i have been getting that metal taste in my mouth that I did not notice in previous pg's. I have been trying to conceive for about three months now. This will be my third prenancy. My period is due tommorow and I took a test today and it said negative. Still a little early but what do you all think? Prego?

This is my second month off of birth control. Last month my cycle was 26 days long but since it was my first month off of BC it's really hard to say. Fertility Friend's calendar estimated my ovulation day to be today (if my cycle is indeed 26 days) I just bought an OPK. Is it worth it to start testing or just wait until next month?? I did test today but it was (-). Thanks!

my last "real" period was the 1st of november, after that i had spotting dec. 6 and once again on dec. 29... usually visible only when i go to the bathroom... what is this supposed to mean? i hope it's good news. i've been xtremely sleepy and found myself having weird cravings (eating mashed potatoes with honey mustard ???) did anyone experience the same? what was going on??

I got my period on the 9th of jan and i bleed normal until then 11th..but continued to very very lightly bleed hardly at all until the 13-14th through the days of 11-14 only cramp occassionally and side pains..Could anyone help me out and helping me find my next fertile time to conceive a baby and any advice that you'd think would help me out..I have a tipped uterus and never been pregnant before..Ive been taking pre-natals for about 2 months trying to get my body full of all of the right vitamins and would love to get pregnant but i dont really understand how the ovulation tests really work.Ive tried 2 packs worth and they've never really told me anything different like the fertile days ..should i take them everyday until i know ..or buy a fertily montior ..please help ..thanks for listening and getting other support and help.

i have two kids from before i meet my hubby they are age 4 (twins)
I want another baby so bad but my hubby shuts off every time i try to talk to him about it.
I think hes scared.

I have a 6 month old baby and two children who are slightly older. I had my older children a year apart. They are very close in age and also best friends. I want my 6 month old baby to have the same type of relationship as my older two children have. Is it too soon to try for a fourth child so that my baby can have a close bond with her younger brother/sister? I desperately want another child and so does my husband, but is it too soon to start trying again?

ok iv been ttc for 8 months now,and nothing .When i tried for my daughter i got pregnant with in 3 month.well this month i had sex on all of my fertile days but did not have sex the day i ovulated. im now 2 days late with mid cramping . i dont know if to take a hpt or wait a while....im scared if i take it ,its going to be - . im also getting a little bit of thick light yellow stuff..not alot just a bit . is that a sign of pregnancy ? do u guys think im pregnant? or not?what should i do ?oh ya and is mild cramping an early sign of pregnancy?
