You should drop it really fast. Breastfeeding helps a lot, but you still have to remember to eat well and exercise! Just stay focused and keep weighing yourself. A lot of it is water weight, so you'll be suprised how fast it falls off!

I am 23 and have 2 kids. I weighed 115 pounds when I got pregnant and after I gave birth I stayed at 135 pounds. I tried and tried to lose the weight but I couldnt. I think that you will lose a majority of it but you may not lose all of it. Some people are lucky and lose it all within weeks but I have been trying to lose it for 3 years now and i still cant get back to where I was. Good Luck, and diet and exercise.

You sound almost like me. I was 150 lbs before pregnancy. I got up to 210 while preganant, and when all was said and done (about 1-2 weeks after), I was 179 lbs. I got it down to the lower 160's after that but still (after 5 years) have about 10-15 lbs to lose.

What I've noticed is that some women lose all the weight almost immediately (usually they look like sticks with beach balls while they are pregnant) and others put it on as if they were not pregnant at all (that would be me). It's really all in the genes, in my opinion.

So I wouldn't say that it would come off fast...but it might.

I gained 80 with my first (they were twins). I lost the weight fairly quick. I breastfed and exercised twice a day five days a week. (I wasn't one to exercise before that.) By the time my twins were 6 weeks old I was back into my jeans and when they were about 10 weeks old I was wearing my jeans comfortably.
It will come off! Even that -- 5 pounds for every child myth thing.

It will not all come off right away. I'd plan on about 20-25 pounds coming off fast (that's what happened to me) because really the pregnancy only caused about 30.

Breastfeeding will help it come off sooner!

it depends on if you breast feed which can help you lose weight faster and if you exercise. it really doesn't matter about your age, i was 19 when i had my first and i never was above 130lbs, and i gained 50, now i'm having baby #3 and i only lost 10 of those and it's 5 years later. (i'm lazy, lol) so it depends on your will power and how much you exercise.

do yourself and your baby the best thing you can do..breast feed, no bottles or formula whatsoever. you'll be able to eat like an ox and lose lotsa weight! worked 3 times for me. none of my kids ever took one drop of formula!
