This cycle, I ovulated on day 19. I am charting my BBT temps. Day 16 and 17, I had eggwhite CM. Day 18, I had creamy and on day 19 (ovulation day according to my chart) I had sticky CM. I had sex on days 17 and 18. Is it possible to still have concieved with this type of CM on my charted ovulation day?

Sticky CM does not make sense -- women typically have "egg-white" like CM right before and up to ovulation, and many have "creamy" CM at that time rather than "egg white." But sticky CM is not a good conductor for sperm.
It sounds to me like either 1) your ovulation date was not calculated correctly, or 2) your CM was either creamy or "egg white" on that day, but that you checked only externally (while the "good stuff" was closer to your cervix which, frankly, is all that really matters).
You say you're charting your temps -- what else are you using to calculate/chart ovulation? Temperatures rise only after you ovulate, and for some women, or sometimes, it doesn't rise for a couple of days, either. The quality of your CM is, in general, going to be a better indicator (if you have to choose between temperature and CM) of when you ovulate, anyway: temps go up afterwards, as already stated, and not before....they may not go up immediately (also as already stated)...they can be thrown off by many things, including room temperature, mouth breathing or snoring (unless you're temping vaginally), disrupted sleep (you may not be aware of the disruption), alcohol consumption, illness, medication, etc. It is typical for CM to resume a sticky consistency AFTER ovulation -- another indicator that your ovulation date is not correct. From your CM it sounds like you ovulated on CD17 (maybe CD18, but CD17 is much more likely)...if your temperature actually went up on CD19 that's more support for that theory.
It's possible that you conceived, even if you ovulated on CD17, depending on when precisely you ovulated and whether there was sufficient time for the sperm to make it to the egg. But I wouldn't bet any money that you ovulated on CD19, and sticky CM is not of the fertile variety.

I think that if there is any cm, you have the possiblity of conceiving. I know that if you ovulated on day 19, most pregnancies occur from sexual relations on days prior to your exact ovulation date. So, if there was still some CM on the day that you had sex, you do pose a chance of conception. Although, i do think that the eggwhite and creamy CM is more fertile mucus. But more fertile and less fertile still mean fertile, so any CM poses pregnancy possibilties.

eggwhite should be right at ovulation.
when i was having trouble conceiving my ob had me take guaifenesin to make the mucus thinner.who knows if it worked but i did end up pregnant.
anyways, the sperm would have been able to travel on day 18 so you could have gotten preg.
gosh, i charted like this for 2 years...sure brings back memories!

It is a sign that ovulation is coming to have stringy egg white type discharge. It helps the sperm live longer and helps it trave to find the egg. good luck!

most of the time, Yes. It seems that the older I get the more noticable the signs of ovulation are.....
