Trying to Conceive - September 2006

If you have stopped taking the pill and are now awaiting your first cycle (from being on the pill) period and it doesnt come for...lets say 2mths, can you still conceive in that time? What does it mean when you don't have a period for a while, do you still ovulate?? The hubby and I are trying to conceive, and I am off the pill but haven't had my period yet but the preg tests say neg.

ok so my last period was 06/23, and this period was very short and lighter than usual, now i have been ttc for about a year now with no luck, since my last period i have taken three preg tests and all came out neg. i was jus wondering what else could be causing this absent period. i am not stressed or anything like that, and this has never happend b4. my usually have a regular period. has this ever happened to any one before and if so what was the reason for it... thankz....

after your done ovulating can you still get a discharge or no...it has no smell or color...any ideas...serious answers please..im ttc....?can this be a sign of pregnancy...or no?

I do not have a normal period, I do have one child and i went to the doctor, she said everything looked normal and put me on bc. it was normal for a year, and now i'm off the pill for 6 months, but haven't had a period since early June, will it still be possible for me to conceive this month?

this sounds so stupid but i have to ask. My hubby and I want another baby I have a little achyness in my breast only when i am wearing a bra. then last night I was drinking with some friends I had one shot of buttershots and I had massive heart burn so I stopped drinking. only had that one though. and i have never had that problem before. it is possible that I could be pregnant. also my period was on hte 13 of aug and is due anytime this week or being of next. so would a test show or not. not exactly sure when af is going to be this month it varies a few days.

Yesterday night i wake up feeling very nauteous. ... to the point I though I could throw up . Also, I have been feeling strange lately (headaches, heartburn). I think I'm not pregnant, well.... I had a miscarrage a month ago the doctor told me to wait 3 weeks to have sax i waited 2 1/2 i have not had my period yet and it has been a month that it all happen i want to take a test just to see if i am pregnant do you think that i might be pregnant or is it just from all that has happened and i need to wait till next month if i still miss my period? please if you have anything mean to say save it for someone else

I think i see where the test line is supposed to be! Has anyone ever had this and not been pregnant? I'm hoping I am, but I'm afraid I may just have incredibly good eyes and most people wouldn't see it.

Usually everything is very typical, but this time I am having Gray/Pink globby stuff.... I am not sure, but I know that this is not normal... I do have a doctors appt. at the end of the month(they're booked up!) So I was just wondering. The one page I looked on said poss. early miscarriage(really early, this would be week 4 if I am) I just wanted to throw this out to see what people find. Thanks.

My period is a couple of days late. I'm rarely late. My husband and I had sex on my supposedly fertile days. I'm tired, nauseous, crampy, sore breasts, basically feeling like I'm about to start my period. I have been feeling like this for about a week. I took an E.P.T Test this afternoon and it came back negative. Any ideas?

i had my period on the 1st of august according to a fertility calculator i looked at on the net i was most fertile on 14-22 of august i have been trying for a baby but nothing seems to have happened i have still been having intercourse , after these dates can i get pregnant after these dates or only when i am fertile , i mean is there a chance i could get pregnat towards the back end of the month as i have not yet had a period ...

Hello, wondering what people think my chances are of getting pregnant quickly. I am 28 years old have 5 children. My cycle is very unreliable and messed up. I have tried making love as often as we possibly can (2-3 times a week). I have no idea when i ovulate as I get cramps quite often. I am overweight and suffer acne (unsure if its hormone related). Any thoughts anyone.....

O.k., we are starting to try for baby#2. My cycle since may has been 25days, right on. This month, there was pink when I wipped on friday night and then nothing all weekend until sunday night, my period started.(last night) For this month when is my best time to concieve, should I count from the friday spot, or from the monday, and if for thelast 5 months with a 25 day cycle, I am assuming I ovulated around day 12, but if it is going back to 27 or 28 day cycle, should I count the 14 days. Last periods were as follows July 13, Aug 7, and now Sept 1 or 3. THanks for the input.

Since i was younger i have always thought i wouldnt be able to have kids maybe because that is what i want out of life so much that i am scared it wont happen for me? But now 11 months of trying and nothing has happened ! I am doing ovulation tests every month and they are positive and regular and my periods are reg i have been for one blood test at docs and it was normal just waiting for 2nd test now. My partner is going soon i hope ! Just wondering if any one else thought they would never be able to have kids ? Now im thinking its been a 6th sense and i am never going to be able to have them ! ?

Have messed up cycle so dont know when period is due. Did the Clearblue at 8am this morning it was neg but at 12pm it was showing a very thin but obviously blue line. Is this a evap line or did the test just take longer to work. I waited 10 mins after using the test to check for changes and there were none. I am experiencing cramping sore boobs and was sick last night and cant eat much as everything is making me feel sick. I also did a First Response test today and it was a definate neg. Any help appreciated. Thanks. xxx

OK Im trying to conceive at 35 yrs old for 4 months without much luck!! I'm totally fed up with feeling sad and frustrated about this so to cheer me up and boost my self esteem, I'd love to hear any tales and advice for those lucky people who have managed to conceive naturally over the age of 35!!
