Trying to Conceive - September 2006

OK so i am irregular i mean i only get my period about once a year, sometimes longer and i have been like this since i was 15 and i am now 21 and me and my Husband are trying to conceive but have had no luck since i am irregular and have no idea when i am ovulating so i have gone to see my doctor but they try to put me on the pill, and it does regulate my period but as soon as i get off the pill my period stops again.... ok so my question is if anyone out there can help us and let us know of anything we can do or take to help us conceive because me and my Husband really want a child of our own so please HELP!!!! Well, I have been with my boyfriend for six years (no we are not married, but we both agree on me having a baby) we both want to start our family. Going online can be a bit scary when you see how long it takes the average women to conceive a baby. I'm 23 year's old and this month was the first month we tried we did It many times and on all the right dates. My mom was 22 year’s old when she had me and it took her 6 months to get pregnant with me.

I may be pregnant now, I should start on the 12th of this month, but I'm having really bad cramps in my lower abdomen and my body is very tired. Yet no morning sickness or spotting, nor do my boobs hurt.

So my question is for women in there early 20's how fast did it take you to get pregnant? Thanks for the advice :)

Ok, i know it's too early to find out but, i believe that i ovulaed on the 28th of august. We had sex on that day. On the 4th, 5th i had pink spotting, today the 6th i have brown spotting. I can only see it when i wipe. I have irregular period so i don't really know when it's due. What are the chances that i could be pregnant and when should i test ?

The LH surge indicated I would ovulate within the next 24-48 hours. This would put me off by 2 days since I am on a 28 day cycle (2 days) early. Every test since then has indicated a decreased (lighter line) for the LH surge.

I am one day late, been thinking I might be prego., but not sure. Today I started a light spotting with a bit brown a bit pink. Nothing like a period. Slight cramps, but also not like a period. What do you think? Could I really be?

I waited the 2 weeks and missed my period. I also took 2 cheap pregancy tests and got negatives...but still no period and still having weird symptoms (sore breasts, dull cramps, constantly peeing etc). Could i have gotten a false negative? My period was due from Septmber 2 and nothing up to now!

But I thought the reason for women with pcos to not concieve was irregular menses and mine are completely normal. So how could I benefit from this medicine. I also did the test strips to see if I was ovulating 2 months in a row and they came up positive. What could this mean? Could the medicine still help?

I have been TTC for quite sometime now. It was suggeted by my OBYGN to start checking my cervix for a better idea of when I was ovulating. I have been doing this now for about 3 months. This month it was been different though. I had clear, thin, stretchy CM for about a week. It now is whitish with, thin & still very stretchy? I thought you were suppose to dry up after you Ovulate. I never dried up this month. For 2 days it was kinda watery, milky stretchy & had a slight smell to it (but not a bad smell), just more noticable. My last period was on Aug.14th & my next A/F should be on Sept. 12th. I had sex every other day since the day before my period ended. Last night I was a little sick to my stomach but not bad & today my boobs are more noticable (heavier feeling, kinda tingly), I have a minor pulling feeling in my pelvic area on both sides. I am due on in just over a week. However Im getting a few weird sensations that don't normally happen to me before period; Weird little cramps, not painful but noticable, sore right booby, slippery and wet slight discharge and Im sooooo tired Im finding v hard to get out of bed and need a cat nap late afternoon, vivid dreams (about breast feeding a baby last nite?!). I signed up to be an egg donor. I honestly did not think I would even get picked and I'll be quite frank I did see the advertisment in the train..so yes the 5,000 was semi appealing. After signing up with an agency and getting picked just two months later. I'm actually feeling thrilled about helping a familiy. I know there are some risks that this involves. I guess I just want to know everyones opinion about this. Have you ever been an egg donor, recipient, etc. I talked to my parents about this, my mom really doesnt agree with it. My father said do what you want, but don't ever tell anyone you date or friends. Like I should be ashamed of this. If I went to work at a homeless soup kitchen on weekends I doubt he'd tell me to keep it a secret. But now that hes said that I've been hesitant about telling the new guy I'm dating. Please give your input! Thanks.
