It is not jesus who have the women to bear the burden of childbirth. It is the act of divine nature.

Jesus didn't have anything to do with it. His daddy did.
Apparently it's our punishment for being so "evil" and not listening to orders to stay away from a tree that is shrouded in mystery and is vaguely referred to as the tree of knowledge. Who the hell wouldn't have picked that fruit?? Personally I think Adam was too spineless too do it, so Eve did it thinking, you pussbag, it's just an apple, I don't see the big deal. So she pissed off the creator and was banished from Eden and forced to endure pain through child birth. Riiiggghhhhtttt.......... We're not the only animal on this planet that feels pain when giving birth, sounds a bit fishy if you ask me.... But then again, I'm a woman, what the hell do I know?

well, it was God actually (before the son of God was born as a mortal on earth). And if Jesus had decided to have women bear this burden, we could've tried reasoning w/ him at least. But anyways, i guess the answer is that someone had to do it.....maybe God thought that man had the honor of being the first created, so he gave the honor of creating all other life to women. it has its pros and cons. :)

Can't tell you what any religion's god had to do with it, but it's biology for you. We're not seahorses, after all. I've heard that there are two main reasons why it's such a problem for humans to give birth.
1.) We have ginormous heads. This might not be as much of a problem if it wasn't for point two.
2.) Humans have a shoddy way of standing upright. The two-legged dinosaurs had it right; instead of needing relatively narrow hips to keep their legs directly underneath them, they had those lovely counter-balancing tails.
So, you see, human females are caught in something of a catch-22; if our hips are too narrow, our children's ginormous heads can't make it out, but if they were too wide, we wouldn't be able to stand upright.

Personally, i dont think it is a burden. I think its amazing. And although painful it is such a miracle to be able to give life and have a bond with your baby stronger than anyone elses. Its beautiful and worth every minute of pain.

Because males could no way handle the pain nor sacrifice as much as a woman, we're special to have that priviledge, because he knows men couldnt do it!
