It is not wrong to want a boy over a girl. I've got one girl, a boy, and another boy on the way. I was a bit upset cuz I wanted another girl. But, there is still time and I love all my kids the same. You will have what you are meant to have, and only God knows what that is. But I have heard of some scientific ways to ensure you'll have a boy. Believe it or not, it's actually harder to get a girl in most cases. Keep in mind though that the sperm will decide the sex of the baby, a woman's chrom is always the same, the sperm adds either an x or a y to determine the sex of the baby. But here's a few things to keep in mind.

The best time to get pregnant with a boy is the first day of your ovulation cycle. Male sperm die faster than female sperm, but they swim faster and stronger. If you have sex the first day you are fertile you will be more likely to get a boy. Where as if you had sex like four days before you ovulate, since sperm can stay alive up to 7 days, you will be more likely to have a girl. So buy one of those ovulation kits. I am not a doctor, this is simply what I have heard. And it can never hurt to try something rather than just keeping your fingers crossed. Also, the more times your partner gets off in the time frame before your attempt, the smaller his sperm count will be. So, don't have sex for a few days prior to the day you try, and tell him if he is seriouse about trying, not to help himself in the bathroom. Then, another thing is I've been told that the more you orgasm during sex the more likely you are to get a boy. Don't know how much truth is in that, but since I've got two boys with my husband, and I had my girl with my ex, I'd say there is some truth in that. But keep in mind it ultimately depends on your partner's genetic makeup. Does he have a lot of brothers or sisters? If he's got a lot of brothers, and a lot of men in his family then there is a good chance that his family naturally produces more male sperm than female and you'll be pretty set. Good luck!

Using IVF and having only male embryos implants is the only way to be 100% that any baby born will not be female. There is no natural way of influencing the odds to that extent. The sex of a child is decided by chance, according to whether a sperm with an X chromosome or a Y chromosome fertilises the egg.

Sperm are produced in the male testes by the splitting of progenitor cells to create sperm. The progenitor cells contain pairs of chromosomes, and one chromosome from each pair goes to create a new sperm. As the male sex chromosomes are X and Y, one sperm will get the X and the other will get the Y. Therefore there are equal numbers of X and Y carrying sperm.

The female sex chromosomes are X and X. Therefore an egg can only contain an X. If the sperm contains an X, they will create XX => a girl. If the sperm contains a Y, they will create XY => a boy.

There are many pieces of advice out there about eating meat, or using gravity, or the guy wearing loose underwear. None of them are reliable. The sex of the child is still influenced primarily by chance. Your only two options for a pregnancy certain to result in a boy are:
a) Use Science.
b) Adopt.

I would cry if I had a boy. Therefore I will not have children because I would get a boy since I don't want one.... Girls are the way to go.

I read that your acidity vs your alkalinity determines gender for many babies. High acid in your body makes for an unfavourable place for a boy to be conceived. There are supplements and you can change your diet to lower acid in your body.

its simple..

if i tell you how it can be made possible, your baby boy who is gonna born might not get a girl to marry when he attains your age!

shame on you to think so STUPIDLY. Think mature & try to live as a human animal on earth.

Hi,

I know this response is late but it might help other people in your situation. It is possible to determine the gender of the baby through a procedure called PGD (pre-implantation genetic diagnosis), which involves screening the embryo in order to determine the gender before it is implanted.

If you want more info please get in touch as our clinic offers this service and we would be more than happy to help: pav@gender-selection.co.uk

All the best!
