If you have stopped taking the pill and are now awaiting your first cycle (from being on the pill) period and it doesnt come for...lets say 2mths, can you still conceive in that time? What does it mean when you don't have a period for a while, do you still ovulate?? The hubby and I are trying to conceive, and I am off the pill but haven't had my period yet but the preg tests say neg.

I don' t believe that you should worry. It may take a few months for your period to get back on track. It happened to me, I went and did some thinking and realized that there was a need to just RELAX. I ate better, exercised, became more 'regular' (if ya know what I mean) and shortly after all of that my period fell. Relax....If your period doesn't come in a few months go see your Physician, but be sure that you are able to communicate with him/her about the dates that you ceased taking the pill, when your last cycle occurred and all of that good stuff.

Just keep trying. They say that you can still really ovulate when you're on the pill, but you should also wait about a year or so before conceiveing after stopping the pill. you should talk to your OBGYN

It is possible. However, you are usually advised to wait for some time after you are off the pill before you start trying to conceive.

Yes, you will still be able to concieve. Once you have that first period, it means that you ovulated 14 days before...so it you did the "baby dance" at that time...could be a baby!!! Unfortunatly, until you get your cycle going, it will be super hard to time. Best of luck!
