Trying to Conceive - September 2006

i had IUI done on Aug. 25 (4 follicles were ready for release). next appt. is on Sept. 9. is it too early for home test? has anyone had IUI that resulted in positive result that can explain how you felt physically?

I will be taking my test tomorrow if I don't start by then and I wanted to know if anyone who took the test on the day they were sopossed to get their period got a false negative. How long did it take you to get a positive? My period is due today

is it normal for me to already be having pregnancy symptoms? big swollen boobs, peeing more, tired more, bloated, acne, back hurts. periods are not normal. i had sex with fiancee on 8/10/06 and 8/16/06 -ttc. going wed for preg tests

I took two EPT, each a day apart, both have a faint postive. Took one this morning, negative! WTH. So, I go and buy a First Response, early result................negative. Why? Why must I go through this? I am so sick of negatives. I get the doctors blood results on Tuesday but I like the at home confirmation since I had a miscarriage in May. I feel like a fool. I feel like I.............I don't know. After 2 miscarraiges in a year and so many negatives you really start to wonder if you are crazy. Anyone else feel this way?

okay me and my boyfriend always have un pretexted sex and just last sunday whick was the 27th and now it is the 3rd, but i have been having migranes and backpain and my lower stomach has been bothering me and im supposed to have my period on the 30th but nothing has happened yet and it is now the 3rd of september, is it too early to take a pregnancy test?

We've been trying to get pregnant for 10 months~ we've both been tested and everything is good. I have irregular periods like every 3-4 months. Does that have anything to do with it?

I'm on Metformin right now. My doctor wants to see me in two months to check and see if I've ovulated. He wants to give the Metformin time and see if I can get pregnant by using it only (I have PCOS)
He did say there was a risk of multiple births when taking Clomid. He said there were more cases of twins than he could count but in his 23 years he had two patients on Clomid that had triplets!

My husband and I want a baby, but I'm not so sure we want 3 at one time! Two might be okay...but even still, I'd like to have one.

I want to hear from other women who have been on Clomid and find out if you conceived 1, 2 or 3 children.

Please, if you haven't been on Clomid or know someone very close to you that has, don't bother answering. All I want to know is how common twins and triples are when using Clomid.

Hello there

I've been trying to conceive for around 4 months now. I have had a mouth abcess and taken anti-biotics which cleared it up. However, around ovulation time I noticed a much thicker mucus than usual and thought i have probably got thrush. Can this stop you conceiving? Just wondering whether to write this month off or whether it was still possible to conceive??

and last month I was 37 days. I am usually about 31 days. I have tested for ovulation for about 2 weeks now with a negative result everyday. I had sex on Thursday night with my husband. Yesterday my cervix was high, soft and open with eggwhite cm, although my test was negative. Now my cervix is high, and closed. I tested again this morning and it is still negative. I have the book . Taking charge of your fertilty, but this situation is messing me up, I am confused. Did I miss ovulation? Thanks everyone. :)

Ok I will try to make this as short as possible and make it as detailed as possible....I started on clomid in march, conceived that month and miscarried at 7 weeks. When I was pregnant that short time I had very sore breasts and developed the blue lines (pretty prominant). Sine the mc, I still have the lines, and they seem to get darker after ovulation and the pain is almost unbearable. I have been off the clomid for 2 months, just because it was making me really cranky..Since then my cycles been kinda weird (shorter periods, later ovulation), but I continue to ovulate (I use a monitor)..I dont know if this is left over from mc, or I should be concerned it something more..I had a breast exam and pap in early march (before preg) and everything was fine. I will call the dr. here eventualy, its just hard for me to get the time off of work...Just wondering if anyone had some input or has had this thank you!

I would love to be a mother but i am single. Now i know people say you should be in love and a child needs a father but i don't believe that, as long as the child has the love of their family, they will never be alone. I am looking for a sperm donor and hopefully to be pregnant by december (going away in november). I have looked at hospital websites but they cost too much and i know that won't take me on.Is there a way that i can become pregnant without paying too much for a sperm donor. I am very specific as to what i would like my baby to look like aswell. Any suggestions?
