Trying to Conceive - August 2006

Has anyone ever taken the emergency contraception pill and still got pregnant or tried to concieve the following month? and if so, how long did it take to concieve after taking the ECP? Because I am trying to have a baby but just found out I have to have surgery in two weeks and I'm afraid the surgery could cause serious problems to the fetus so I took the ECP pill to prevent a pregnancy this month but would like to start trying again next month but worried that taking the Emergency Contraceptive Pill this month would disrupt my ovulation next month. Can anyone out there help?

I had a miscarriage 3 mnths ago and my cycle is back on track like normal. However, My last period was 8/4 and went off on 8/8 and i know i ovulate on 8/17. I am normaly careful not to have unprotected sex on or around my ovulation day. my bf and i just had sex today 8/15 unprotected but he didn't ejaculate in me fully. It was more like half in and half out. Do u think i could have gotten pregnant?

I have been trying to conceive for 10 months now and Iam very frustrated with no results. Im 31 and feel that I may have ran out of time. I keep track of my periods and ovulation. Anyone have any ideas on natural ways to promote this or anything I can do to increase infertilty? Thanks so much.

I bleed 3 1/2 days to 4 * for my time of the month) and it starts out heavy and terrible cramps. Is this cause to worry? I started my periods at 12 for 7 days. Then it went to 5. Now I am at 3 1/2 to 4 days.

Recently suffered a misscarriage, but I'm ready to try again once my normal menstural cycle comes back. Did not have to have a D&C (uterus cleaned) and I was only a couple of weeks when I miscarried. Some say it is too soon to try again any advice?

On a more personal note, when I touch his testes, they feel a little cool 2 me. He has also had a couple of unfortunate blows to that area. Could that mean that he is infertile? He wants to seek medical attention just 2 make sure, but I think he is afraid. What can I do 2 help him...I Love Him

" Some websites are stating that it is the first day of your period until the first day before your next period is to start. Which is true?

I had my little girl in 04/2005 and I had a C-section when I had her. My dad is going crazy because we want to start trying for number 2 in January 2007 and he thinks that it is too early for us to start trying because it will be two hard on my body. I"ve been in three monogamos relationships and used unprotected sex with all (since I was about 16,) (am 24 now) and I've never been pregnant on or off of birthcontrol. I took the pill for a couple years and was on depo shot once. I have not been on BC for the past 2 years. (always "pull and pray") I also have never really had the guy TRY to impregnate me. I'm worried now that I"m married that i"ll have trouble getting pregnant - all of my girlfriends have been pregnant before accidentally... should I be worried?

According to the babycenter.com it gave me my most fertile days... I had sexthose days then i counted 14 days after my first day of my perios had sex then.... My husband recently began thinking about getting circumcised. Oddly enough i've never been with a circumcised man and didn't really know how to respond when he told me he was thinking about having it done? Is it really any different at all? Looking for an answer from a doctor/nurse or a woman who has had an abortion....if there is an infection after the procedure does this affect being able to become pregnant in the future? I read that from an infection the fallopian tubes close making pregnancy impossible. Is this true? Have you had an infection and were later able to have a baby? Thanks

My husband and I are trying for our second child. Recently I quit taking the Depo Provero Shot. I have been off the shot for 8 monthes and I still have not had a period or thought that I was pregnant. I have even taken pregnancy tests but they are alway negative. Say, if I am in my "fertile" time, what is the exact longest time sperm would last in the vagina once ejaculated? (example, semen was deposited on Aug 8th....how long would that have lasted if I was "fertile" and it was the right enviroment for sperm?)
