I"ve been in three monogamos relationships and used unprotected sex with all (since I was about 16,) (am 24 now) and I've never been pregnant on or off of birthcontrol. I took the pill for a couple years and was on depo shot once. I have not been on BC for the past 2 years. (always "pull and pray") I also have never really had the guy TRY to impregnate me. I'm worried now that I"m married that i"ll have trouble getting pregnant - all of my girlfriends have been pregnant before accidentally... should I be worried?

You should not be worried. I myself never got pregnant before, and never took care of myself. I am married now and finally I got pregnant twice last year after being married for a year and a half. Unfortunately, I lost both babies. Anyway, maybe it was a good thing that you didn't get pregnant. What you should do now that you are trying to conceive, is don't stress and make sure you are ovulating. Work on the BBT Chart to help you monitor your ovulation. In my first year of marriage, we weren't trying to conceive, but then again, we weren't being careful. After two weeks of going to Curves and loosing 15lbs., I was pregnant for the first time. Your body might need some changing, both mentally and physically. Don't worry about other people having babies, make sure you are well and healthy. Don't take having sex as a chore. Your time will come. Good luck and God Bless!

I don't think so ... I would give it time. If you are wanting to have a baby now that your married, then I would say not to take any precautions against it. I don't know if I would be worried for not "accidentally" getting pregnant until now. I am sure that if you try enough, and you want it, that you will get pregnant.

I wouldn't worry about it, it sounds like you have been using bc and that is why you have not gotten pregnant, when my husband and I go married we used the withdrawl method and i didn't get pregnant so maybe it worked for you too so, I would just relax and try. Good luck and God bless.

no dont be worried, if its not meant to happen it wont happen, if it is it will happen, i was one of those who got pregnant at 17 on accident but i am happy i had her, and the babys daddy married me and now years leter we are trying to have another baby and seem to not be able to!! it seems like when you want a baby you cant and when you dont try you end up pregnant in like 2 seconds, lol just dont worry, when you decide your ready you and your husband just enjoy sex and relax and if its meant to be it will be. :)

it takes a healthy couple that are TRYING to get pregnant up to a year to concieve and that is considered normal, you can't predict fertility problems until you have actually tried, but you could start doing a fertility chart to see if you ovulate each month, just buy a basal body thermometer( at any drug store) and visit
