Pregnancy - January 2007

I'm 4 months pregnant and my belly has become SO fuzzy during my pregnancy! I had slight hair on my stomach before, but now it's all over. If I put a little bit of static near my belly, tons of little hair's rise all over the place, lol. It looks funny. They're not dark hairs either. I do have dark hair, but these hairs are light blond, but much much longer and all over since I became pregnant. I'd say they are about 1/4 in long. I don't look like chewbacca or anything, lol and it's just my tummy. Why is this? Even my boyfriend noticed.

My wife's due date is Saturday, January 27. However, we have an appointment for her labor to be induced on Thursday the 25th. She had an appointment with her OB/GYN yesterday, and she was the same amount dialated and effeaced (2 cm, 80%) as she was her previous appointment the week before. Since there was no change, are we doing the right thing by inducing, or do you think it would be better to just let nature run it's course? Before we got pregnant, my wife was 5'0", 115 lbs. so needless to say, the weight of the baby has been a burden and is making her more and more uncomfortable. Thanks for your input.

my sister has a one year old son and an eight month old daughter, and she's pregnant again!!! i told her to get on birth control or get a IUD, but she says, "so what, you think i'm stupid?" i DON"T think she's stupid, but she should just be more careful... how can i tell her without her getting pissed? she's only 15. I had unprotected sex with my boyfriend 16/01/07 and due on my period 25/01/07. I obviously dont know if i have missed my period but am experiencing symptoms that i dont usually get as i never have any symptoms as such for my period anyway. Ive been feeling a bit sick from time to time, and now as im writing this i feel a lil bit bloated and my discharge is not as it normally is, it keeps changing back and forth from stringy to a milky substance, my boobs only feel a lil bit sore but not much. Im 20 and have not been pregnant in the past as weve always been careful, so i am a lil bit scared as to what im experiencing. If anyone could advise or help me to what im experienceing i would really appreciate it! thanks x x

I went to my doctor cause my right breast was hurting me, what it seems was like I had some sort of a lump or something. So I was set to a sonogram and nothing showed up there. I have irregular periods, and i dont remmber when I had my last one but its definatly late. (its always late) . Today for no reason I decided to have a home pregnancy test....the result came out POSITIVE!. I am going back to my doctor today. I was wondering whats the safest abortion method during your first month or weeks of pregnancy. I am just not ready for kids right now.

My friend has been with her husband for a total of 2 years, and has been miserable since day one. In fact 3 months ago she asked him officially for a divorce but changed her mind because her "vows before God."

She is 24 and found out me and her other good friend are pregnant. She was very jealous and said she wanted a baby too. So she purposely got pregnant even though her marriage is rocky at best.

I am so frustrated with her and her selfish actions. I almost want to cut her off! She causes so many problems in her own life by being an immature brat and it stresses me out to hear about it all of the time.

Should I just distance myself from her? She told me she plans to take her baby with her to house parties and bars so they can drink with their friends.

I just don’t agree with her lifestyle or parenting skills. My husband refuses to hang out with them because of all their problems and fighting.

Is it time for me to move on from the friendship?

I bottle fed my 1st child and breastfed my second (it was not a pleasant experience)..I pumped my milk and breastfed my son,ever since birth he had a hard time latching on,my milk supply was out of whack but i did everything right...Now with this one im contemplating on breast or bottle feeding..i really wanna bottlefeed again. Did u or are u breastfeeding or bottle and which one is more comfortable for you?

This is my first pregnancy, and my first Dr. visit is today at 1:30pm. I've never had a pap smear before, and so I know they will do one today.
Is there any other woman out there who never had one until pregnant? If so, how do u deal with that? I'm very shy about anyone doing things like that.

Hi,
I am 14 weeks pregnant this week and since 5 weeks into my pregnancy I have been suffering from bleeding, The bleeding is not continual but has happened 4 times now.
The first 3 times it happened it was as a brownish red discharge but the 4th time it was very heavy like a full blown period.

I have been to the Dr one one occasion and found her really rude, she commented that she doubted she would be able to hear the heartbeat as there was ' a lot of me' (I am size 20). The heart beat was found and was strong

On the other 3 times I have been to the hospital and had scans which have shown that baby seems to be oblivios to all the goings on.

I have asked time and again what could be causing this but I have been told each time that it is something that happens.

I am sick with worry and I dread going to the toilet and seeing more blood. I have tried over and over again to get help but no one seems to be willing to do anything more for me what do I do now?
