dark & cloudy sounds to me like a UTI, does it burn too?? (or sting) try drinking alot of water in a day and see if it is still cloudy or smells funny, then go to the dr, they will give u a round of antibiotics that will make it all better!!!

Usually if your urine is dark and cloudy that means you are dehydrated. My midwife tells me at every visit to make sure I am drinking a gallon of water a day. You need to drink as much water as you can today and if it is still like that then you should call your doctor because it could be an infection.

If you are on prenatal vitamins you will notice a change in the color of your urine. Are you drinking enough water? The cloudiness is the part that is concerning, you should call a doctor.

Any time your urine is dark yellow you are not getting enough fluid. You should drink at least 8 glasses of water each day. Most important when pregnant.

No, cloudy urine in pregnancy can be two things, 1. Infection or UTI, 2. hypernatrimia- protein in the urine, cause by hypertension.

no, that is not normal. you need to drink tons of water. It is very dangerous to get dehydrated at any point during pregnancy. Dark yellow and cloudy are indicators of dehydration. this can result in pre-term labor. Your urine should be almost clear.

dark yellow and cloudy urine is almost a sure sign of your body not having enough water. be sure to drink lots of water, and i mean water! not alcohol or soda or anything like that. as much as you may hate the taste, you have to drink lots of water. you know you're drinking enough water if your urine is almost clear.

If it's dark yellow and cloudy and especially if it smells I'd call my doctor. This is exactly how mine was. I had a bladder infection. Even if it doesn't smell it wouldn't be a bad idea to still call the doctor and ask them what they think.

Part of the yellow color can be from you vitamins but I would high recommend you drinking more water. Also if you are not scheduled to see your Dr. soon I would place a call into the office and get a recommend from them. You could havea bladder or kidney infection that can be easily resolved.

Sounds like your body is crying out for fluids, drink plenty of water and if it doesn't change the colour over the next 24 hours phone the GP, you may have an infection.
